May the 4th – r2d2 – craft activity
Celebrate May the 4th (be with you) Day with a fun activity and make a silly droid!
All you need is a styrofoam cup, markers, tin foil and some construction paper or foam stickers.
First prepare the foam cup for your child. Cut up along the side with two lines to make one of the legs. Do the same on the other side. Now cut around the lip of the cup to remove a section so that the legs you created hold up the cup.
Then cut out a small circle of tin foil and let your child mold it over part of an egg crate to get the top part ready.
Then put the tinfoil over the top and tape it to the cup. Then let your kid decorate the droid with blue construction paper and a black marker!
It’s the perfect addition to have when you make some yoda pancakes for May the 4th! :)
