Toddler Crayons!
Sometimes those tiny hands need a little help.
Here's a way to take some ordinary crayons and make one
toddler crayon that's easy to hold with the whole hand.
Take an empty modeling clay container and stuff some ordinary
crayons into it. Make sure that you put enough crayons
in so that they are all jammed well in the container and
they don't move. Then turn it over and let your toddler
hold the container with the crayons pointed down on the
paper and start drawing! How fun for her! (...and you
too!)
Supplies Needed-
- crayons
- empty modeling clay container
- paper
Tips/Suggestions-
- For some of the smaller broken pieces of crayons,
it is easier to use the small travel size modeling clay
containers.
- PLEASE ALWAYS SUPERVISE YOUR CHILD SO THAT HE/SHE
DOESN'T TRY TO EAT THE CRAYON PIECES.
