 Confetti
Crayons!
Here's a great activity that you can also make for
party favors at your toddler's next birthday
party! First cut up some tissue paper of different
colors and patterns. Put the cut up tissue paper in a
small bowl or box. Then find some crayons and use a glue
stick to coat the top end of a crayon. Depending on the
age of your toddler, she might be able to put the glue
on too. Then take the crayon and stick it glue-side down
into the box of confetti and swirl it around, like you
are making a cotton candy stick. The tissue paper will
stick to the glue and you'll have your first Confetti
Crayon. Let it sit aside and dry.
Supplies Needed-
- Colored tissue paper
- crayons
- small box
- glue stick
Tips/Suggestions-
- Yes, this activity can get a little crazy with
confetti flying all over. At the end, you can just take
a big piece of tape to pick up all the confetti. (Or let
your toddler put some glue with the glue stick all over
a piece of paper and press it down to pick up the
confetti on the floor.
- If you want you can put the glue on the whole crayon
and not just the top half.
