Toddler Brushing Teeth!
This is the way we brush our teeth, brush our teeth,
brush our teeth! Here's a fun way to introduce the act
of brushing teeth to your toddler. Take a digital photo
of your toddler with his mouth wide open. Then print it
out on a big piece of paper. Next put some contact paper
over the photo. Now get a kid tooth brush and a
little toothpaste and start brushing the teeth on the
photo/contact paper. Let your toddler help and be sure
to sing while you do it. If you make it fun, your
toddler will have fun with it also! Take a wet washcloth
or paper towel to wipe it off and do it again!
Supplies Needed-
- digital camera
- contact paper
- toothbrush
- toothpaste
- washcloth/paper towel
Tips/Suggestions-
- Keep the photo with contact paper in the bathroom
so that your toddler can help to brush it right
before/after he lets you brush his teeth.
- You can take a photo of yourself and cover with
contact paper, to let your toddler play the adult role
and brush your teeth on the paper.
