Magnetic Book Mark!
Let your toddler have some
fun with paints to make a nice magnetic book mark for
someone special. Start out with letting your toddler
paint on some white paper. Let her mix colors, use a
paintbrush, use fingers or whatever she wants to make a
fun painting. Then let it dry and get some contact paper
and find a nice small photo of your child. Cut out the
photo of your child. Then after your child's painting
has dried, cut a strip from it. Make the strip about 2
inches wide and 8.5 inches long. Then find a couple of
magnets that you can use to put at the each end of the
strip. (Advertisement magnets that come in the mail, or
from Pizza places are great to use!) Glue them to the
back making sure that when you fold the strip, they will
attract each other. Then glue the photo of your child at
the end of one side. Cover the front and back with some
contact paper and then fold in half so that the magnets
stick together. Now you have a beautiful, custom book
mark to send to a special friend or relative!
